That's the tone would have been LEGO City Undercover, if the game was not about the amazing world of the Danish designer. If until recently it seemed that TT Games can only do games of the same type, with a loud kinolitsenziey in the title, the Undercover - based on the original brand of designers LEGO - proves the opposite. Interesting, full and funny game "about cubes" to them too in the teeth. Although it was not without flaws.
LEGO City Undercover - this is a "fat-free" GTA: without prostitutes, murders and skirmishes, but with a big city, lots of secrets and no less impressive set of vehicles. Scheme worked out for years: you have fun in free mode, perform various tasks of absurdity, and in the end you come to story missions with videos, new characters, unique locations, etc. Undercover is different from Sleeping Dogs or, say, Saints Row: The Third by a few obvious and not so many things. Firstly, it is, of course, humor, which best fits into the category of "funny".
A set of gags, sometimes stupid, sometimes naively sweet and very often parodying the movie classics, from "Batman", "Dirty Harry" and "Matrix" to "Escape from Shawshank" and "Titanic". This layer is primarily appreciated by adult players.
Cubic den, however, spoil the various flaws. Range of drawing sometimes hinders play, as well as small "brakes". During the loading of each level, you can play a match in Halo. Secondary tasks begin to be repeated - and the further, the more often. Well, and the main drawback is the lack of a traditional cooperative mode for LEGO games. Most likely, the authors simply did not come up with how to let two players into the huge world. Although here Rockstar is somehow invented.
By and large, Undercover has only one difficulty: it strangely positions itself, torn between childish naivety and appealing to the adult's cultural baggage. To play this without experiencing internal discomfort, you can only if you still have an inner child in you, and you are not at all ashamed of it. However, if the curious childish craving for a fascinating journey through the virtual worlds is no longer there, then you probably went to our site by chance.
